- Wed Aug 01, 2012 12:51 am #312420 Hi I have a 99 b18b1 in my 93 eg and I would like to swap the stock head for a vtec head but I dont know what head I should buy and i dont know if I need a conversion kit and this is my first build so can you guys help me out

yes, you need a "kit". there are different ways of getting oil to the head, but most simply use a kit like Golden Eagle.
you will need headstuds as well. golden eagles sells a set, or you can use ARP.
