#304682 So my Air fuel gauge says Im always running rich. I have a jdm b18c with pro intake 240cc(stock cc)injectors, 244lbh or whatever fuel pump. After market headers.

I was looking on ebay at chips, and I wanted to know what I should get. I see these mugen, and spoon chips. People are saying they are "fake" but does it really matter? Because its just a chip with ratios in it... They also sell "custom" chips. Does anyone have experience with any of these. I have OBD1 chipped ecu.

#304685 Those are a base map chip, and I wouldn't even look at them imo. If you are going to chip it then go with a chip that you can use chrome or uberdata on, so that away you can have a tuner dial it in for you. You could also go with a hondata. A third option is a chip from here http://www.phearable.net/shoppingcart/ecu-chipping-c-34.html they can give you a chip with there base map, based on what mods you have.

Now the chipped ecu you have could be causing you to run rich, have you tried using a stock ecu??

#304703 Yea there is a big differences. The eBay chip is a chip made with one base map that could or not work with your car.

The phearable chip is made for your mods. You tell them what you got done to your car and they will make you a base map for it. They will make one for i/h/e or a fully built turbo motor with 20psi.

Plus I would rather get a chip from a company that I can call and they will help me with my problems then someone's house and they don't know what you are talking about
