#304187 hi guys

my situation:

i have a EDM dpfi obd0 93 eg4 lsi
i have removed the d15b2 engine
and replaced with a b16a2
from a EDM ek4 mpfi obd2

i know i cant use the original harness on the b16 as it is obd0
so i am going to get a d16z6 engine harness as it is obd1

i know i need to convert from dpfi to mpfi, i found this link.
http://www.d-series.org/forums/diy-foru ... rness.html

it says in the thread i need a obd1 dizzy, however i am looking a buying this and was wondering if i needed one as it has a dizzy harness included??
http://h-tune.co.uk/index.php?route=pro ... uct_id=709

1.will this package help me complete my conversion?
2, do i need an OBD1 dizzy?
3, is the dpfi to mpfi link the correct thing to do?
4,will i need to modify the z6 harness in any way?
5,is the link below how i should wire in vtec to complete the conversion?

i have done tones of research but there is not much about for EDM carbd motors and if anyone can answer these questions it would help me out big time!

thanks :thumb:

#304276 This one is kinda weird to me because a 93 in the states would be obd1 but I found something that might help.

#304288 so its basically best for me to get the z6 dash harness instead of converting from dpfi to mpfi as i will also gain the correct fuel relay?

#304295 ok sweet so ill get a full z6 harness
will i need to swap injector plugs, dizzy plugs and alt plugs with the b16 loom plugs?
or will i have to get an obd1 dizzy/alt that will fit my b16?

#304340 if the motor is obd2 then you wont have to change anything unless you change the engine harness.

the obd2 harness will plug into the obd1 subharness. so if you are changing the subharness and dash harness to the obd1 harness then you will be ok.

also make sure you run a p30 ecu so that away it will be obd1 as well. you wont be able to run a obd2 ecu on a obd1 harness

#304362 ok sweet can i run a chipped p28 with that?
and will there be any more wiring rrquired eg o2 sensor and vtec or will it just be plug and play? thanks

#304370 Yes you can run a chipped p28, and if you are going that route then you won't have to wire anything else just make sure that you disable the knock sensor when you chip it. Or you will have to wire the rest of the knock sensor to the ecu
