#286353 So I think I may have found a B18C1 now I was planing on going turbo like JUICE but now I am wondering if I just put the money I would be puting into the turbo and going N/A power. Just wondering what you all think I was planing on tearing it all down and building it up so I am thinking it might be a good idea

#286391 Cheaper to go turbo and you'll see more power gains.

As JUICE said if paperwork is present, then that's a good deal. If the parts check out, and they're what he says they are. I'd jump on it. Then once you have in your possession, pull it apart and double check everything.

and ya, boost is cheaper w/better power gains... if you cheap on a turbo project, it'll be less reliable than a semi-built NA setup.

#286431 For me I wanted good N/A power with reliability! I opted for the B18C-R. Great power output and it's more 'out the box' engine.

Can't fault it, great engine.
