We got the LS out of tha crashed hatch last nite and 2day im going to give it a quick clean and put in the new water pump, timming belt and alternater belt. tommarrow im planing to take out my SOHC motor and throw in the LS. ill have pics of the "new motor" into my car as soon as we finish for now check this pic i took with my shitty sidekick 3 camara

Good find! while the motor is out is the best time to change the clutch too. Unless you knew the original owner and he says there was planty of clutch left.
Are you going to have any issues with OBD1 vs OBD2? wondering if the Distributor harness will be different...
Keep us updated on the swap!

dizzy plugs are the same in the same family. the wiring is different between obd1 and 2. the obd1 has 2 plugs, and the obd2 has 1 plug. same number of wires though. obd0 has 2 plugs too, but different type of plug and wiring.

the LS is in but as the car was running we noticed a small fuel leak one of my friends said it could be an o-ring in the fuel injector so he is gonna take a look at it while im at work so hopefully that problem is fixed and i can get my car bak on the road!

some times the easy fix for that is that the bolts that hold on the fuel rail aren't cranked down all the way. see if they can be any tighter. if not, then new o-ring like you said.

another update: fixed the o-ring so theres no more fuel leaking, it was ideling really wierd the whole day but we got it working around 11pm last nite so its basicly done just need to bolt on the front bumper and need to take to to a muffler shop to get the exhaust welded on. then ill post up some pics
