At the moment I have a chipped p28 for intake, headers, exhaust.

won't be much, but at least Vtec motors do see gains in stock form with bolt-ons on the dyno.

Does anyone if you have to dial in CTR camshafts? Or they're just drop in and drive?

If you had a stock CTR ECU, it would be "drop in and drive". With a chipped P28... who knows? It's already questionable.
