B16B and ITR heads are the same casting. Only difference is the ITR head was hand ported a little bit from the factory. Not a whole lot, but still.

IDK what the differences are between the B16B and ITR cams. But I would expect similar power output between a B16B head on JDM ITR block and a full on JDM ITR.

so if i have the itr block i will be pushin the same as and itr or what would be the power gains goin from full b16b to itr block

I don't think you would see much different with an ITR compared to a B16B. If anything I think the b16 would win. Higher compression andbyou can spin it to 10k stock if you want. A b16b is a factory motor but even stock it is a race motor which is why everybody wants the cams and pistons.

Difference in B16b/JDM ITR is 11HP and 9lbs of Torque. You would make more power by spending the money on Cams and tuning then getting a b18c Spec R Block.

If you want to get the B18c-R Bottom end with out paying the extra Type-R Tax you can get a B18c(GSR) Crank, Rods and JDM ITR Pistons(or better aftermarket ones) and still keep the B16B Badging on the block.

If it was me, I would person do Cams and an awesome Tune Job. B16's like to Rev, Its Type-R Edition is no Exception. Get Cams that make power upto 9-10k RPM and rev all day long.

if you look at the pistons of the ctr vs. the itr, the ctr has better pistons than the itr and i think im not for sure but i think the ctr has a higher lift on the cam then the itr.

i was just tryin to get the torque numbers that the itr has cause my b16b always takes a while revin from 4-6.5 grand.
would i get the 1.8 displacement switchin crank rod and pistons out

true for a b16a, the b16B is a destroked b18c-R and they will work in it.

yea the itr and ctr share the same deck hight. i was going to make a poor mans ctr out of a b16a but i found out you cant. anyways you should be able to put in the gsr crank and rods, imo i would say with the ctr pistons and run a b16a head so you can have the 11:1 compression ratio
