***B18A1 swap start issues ***

ok yesterday i had just started putting liquids into my ls, alright now when i turn the key i got spark and u hear the starter turn over , alright now since after that it just doesnt turn over no more u hear the fan go on . today i started working on it again now i got all my fluids antifreeze and oil and tranny fluids , so i poored the coolant through now my water pump is leaking so i found out there was some mulchy looking stuff on and around the water pump when i took it off, so i have to be missing something everything is plugged up,now keep in mine that everything is new from head gasket to:
*water pump gasket and water pump included
*throttle body
*intake mani
*new spark plugs wires
*rotor for distributor
*stater
just because this is going to be my DD and i want it to be reliable
so if u guys can let me know what u think and some inputs ,it would be
good trying to get on my feet its been three months walkin takin the bus and savin up for this swap + its my first swap and project and i dnt mind but now i just need to get on my feet thanks guys i wouldnt have done it with out askin dumb and crazy question , you know what they say no dumb question is a dumb one if it isnt asked

Do u have the ground from the tranny to the chassis ???
It maybe a bad connection from that... and did u prime the fuel pump so that gas is in the motor??? It maybe that... :?

well the fuel is in the fuel filter so i know there is fuel but primeing the fuel pmp how you do that? and the ground isnt on the tranny but it was cranking when it wasnt on regarless :?

To prime the fuelpump:
Have the key in the ignition and turn it to the second possition and ull hear the fuel pump whime witch is a "prime".... do it like 10 times

And the ground its from the tranny to the subframe... located next to the motor mount to the tranny... it should be a wire... u should have this

alright i have eveyrthing hooked up from sensors to fluids i am getting spark its in timening and its cranking good, but one thing is i wanna know whos done a ls swap because i have my stock d16z6 wireing harness , but one thing is i changed my ecu from the my stock p28 to the ls p72 should i try my p28 to see if this would make a difference :?

so i got the car running finally so now i need a down pipe lol but iam going to get at new one any ways but man for my first swap it feels great and it runs great thanks guys for the help and support :thumb:
