That would be a downgrade.
The GSR head has smaller ports and is designed for a 2 stage intake manifold and a different VTEC engagement point. The B16 is all about peak power. That is why the Type R uses a B16 head casting.

I did some checking around and apparently if you can get them cheap, then its worth doing. But not worth spending any money on because the difference is very small.
You should do it and post before / after dyno graphs.

what makes you think that it is down grade ? its simply imposible to be down grade becouse the gsr cams are more aggressive

If you plan to turbo, GSR cams are your new best friend as far as stock cams go. Three of my friends have made +800hp on stock GSR cams.

well their in and it was deffinatly worth 20 bux haha
and i was thinking boost but if you think about it
crx hf + b16 + boost = almost cheating lol
so i think a b18b block and my pr3 pistons with acl bearings may be in order.

yea man im glad you did the gsr cam swap. because i have had gsr cams in my b16a and there is a difference for sure nit much but enough. also yea they cannot be a down grade because of what you said, they are a bigger cam for the bigger mmotor, not nesarily more aggresive but they become more aggressive because they are going in a smaller motor. and yea dollar to hp gain ratio they are a waste but if you dont have 500 for aftermarket cams and do have 100 for gsr i would get them anyday
