If I were you, Id save the money and build an ls/vtec.

Want better n/a power for your LS?
Take out your LS Transmission and swap in a GSR or B16 Transmission. Your car will now be much much faster.
To put in place how bad the LS Transmission is, An EG w/ stock z6 can beat an EG w/ LS swap easily by a car when it has its LS tranny. Swap it out for a b16 transmission and the LS will be stomping that z6 down by cars, taking down b16's and maybe even a gsr or two.
My Stock 99spec jdm b20 w/ b16 transmission is faster then my friends "Built" GSR(port/polished head, itr cams, GSR Tranny). He was in a lighter car to boot(99 ek dx hatch vs 92 si)
For some extra ponies, Basic Intake headers and exhaust, Maybe have your car chipped and dynotuned. When your all said and done your car will be quicker, and most importantly, Still Reliable.

.
x2 he has a great point, gsr and si gears really wake an ls up, the onlything you loose is your highway crusing,
a gsr is a good happy medium tho
i too had a b20 in my eg with a 00 si trans, that car was so impressive for just a stock engine, it barked 4th with a stock clutch...

yes the head will fit, the port design and cams are both a little better on the 95 spec...
