B18 swap

If i get a b18 motor from a junkyard what is the cheapest year and easiest to put in my 94 civic dx with manual trans. what items will i need to do the swap. car currently has a jdm d15

You will also need a b series tranny, b series axles, and more stuff but those things are for sure. Im sure its somewhere use the search feature to find what your looking
While your at the junkyard try to take everything shift linkage and all

95 to 97

94-95 is the years you need to look for. THey are the ONLY obd1 versions, which equals plug and play for ALL parts of the swap. Make sure you grab all the mounts, including the t bracket, axles and ecu.

would a 92-93 work? I have the opportunity to get a whole integra that needs a dash harness. Would that work since it has the ecu it needs and everything like that? Just interested since you said 94-95 is what to look for.

92-93 motor would work, but its a b18a and still the same specs as the obd0 motors. Usually not as low milege and the come with a cable tranny.
