Quick Question..Im planning on installing a gsr oil pump, Water pump, and gsr timing belt on my stock b20b..no vtec head yet..reason im doin this is because im planing on goin cr-vtec in the future, so i dont wanna buy b20 pumps and belt and when i decide to go vtec have to buy gsr pumps and belt to replace them...Figured that be a waste of money..So my question is- is there anything wrong with my setup?

You need to use the B20 timing belt. IIRC, the GSR belt is too long. Even too long for the tensioner to make up for it.
The water pump between the GSR and the B20/B18B are the same part number. Oil pumps are different though. The GSR/B16/ITR oil pumps are the same and are designed to pump oil at much higher rpms than the B18B/B20 which are designed to be economical engines, not high performers.
So you can get whatever water pump you want, just so long as you get the right oil pump and timing belt for your application.
Do you have a daily driver? If so, I'd just wait to put this engine in your ride until you have it built to where you want it.

YOu can put the oil pump on with no problems. I dont see why the B20 timing belt would be any longer than the LS or GSR belt. THey all have the same deck height and such. From what I remember, you have to match the belt with the water pump. Its been a while since I had to worry about this though.
Check out the How to thread for the LS/Vtec B20/Vtec to get a better understanding on what you will be doing later, and it might help you decide what to get now.

I was under the impression that the GSR belt was just slightly longer than the B18B/B20B belt. I'm reasonably certain that the head on the GSR is a little taller than the LS head, and the head on the B16/ITR is slightly taller than that.
