wtf year is my head im so lost

so i got a gsr head that has the stamps on it they say ....p72-2 circled ones are 9/4 .. /8.. /1..01... if anyone could give me some insight on what year this head is that would help so much i need to order a few parts and handa said the need the year ... thanks in advance

well just from the first part p72-2 im thinking here that sounds to me like at least a obd1 head, and the -2 seems kinda like either 2nd gen gsr or obd2.....but im pretty sure as long as you have a car that is GSR original id say 95 GSR or something they should be the same but dont quote me on that since im not sure if they changed anything i dont think they would since alot of the parts are interchangable and stuff

k ill try 94/95 parts ... just been reading other places that p72-2 was 96up but id rather take advive from here that anywhere else on the internet ....thnks guys

the number after the head code, -2 in this case is just a casting #.
i dont know how to decipher the other numbers on the head, but greasedmonkey knows his shit. if he says 94-95 i'd go with it

these numbers tell you what year it is. the 9/4. IT was made in 94. SO it either went on a 94 car, or a early 95 car.
