SO I GOT THE EG RUNNING AGAIN BUT NOW THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON...CODE 54 I GOOGLED AND IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE CKP SENSORE ANYBODY NO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS?? THANKS FOR HELPING WITH THE DIZZY QUESTION..

first double check and make sure its a code 54. second of all what ecu are you running. OBD 1 or 2. did you recently swap the ecu or motor out?

erase the code and see if it comes back again

our eg's (unless obd2 swap) dont have ckp or cmp
if u get a ckp or cmp code u gotta replace the dizzy

but from the code u got ur car is obd1 so id say look for another dizzy :thumb:

Don't be silly man. Of course OBD1's have CKP and CYP! Without them there's no way for your ECU to know when to fire the ECU and spark.

EVERYONE TELLS ME ITS THE DIZZY....ISNT THAT WHERE THE CKP SENSOR IS LOCATED?
