iv been thinking about going with an f20b.
will an s2000 6 speed tranny fit in an eg or is it too long?

and if not what other trannys will fit that motor.
id like to go with something a little cheaper and not as good so i can do that swap now, then later on get the s2k one if it will fit

Nothing s2000(f20c and f22c) will fit on other F/H Blocks.

Any Prelude/Accord H/F Transmission will fit on a F or H block.

if you dont want to have to cut up your cabin for cable shifters then you can get an H2B or an H2D Conversion kit and use the H or F Series Engine with a D or B Series transmission.

Doing a F20C/F22C w/ RWD into a EG is doable, however will take lots and lots of work and fabrication. It wont be worth it IMO.

If you where planning on doing a S2k drive terrain swap. K series are much easier to make power with. For example its easy to hit 300whp with boltons on K24's The S2000's F20c/f22c's require huge builds with swapped out pistons, better cams etc to hit 300 WHP. There are some guys who swap out the F20C from the s2k and put a K24 in its place. This was featured in honda tuning a while back.

If you wanted the S2k path in an EG it will be cheaper to buy an S2k. Swapping in a K24 into a EG will be faster then a stock s2k or a s2k powered eg. It will also cost much less and be much much easier to do.
