timing?

i am trying to figure out how to set the timing on a f22a1 after installing a water pump and replacing all of the belts i can get it to turn over but it wont start and i think the timing is off any suggestions?

Take your covers back off, and check your timing marks.

on the trans theres a rubber peace that you can pull off next to the stamp on the block where it says f22 you check the timing off the flywheel
