Dan, can you give us a complete list of engine & parts that someone may be parting it out for? It would be great if everyone could take a couple mins of their time and search their local craigslist or classifieds for any of these parts.
I believe that cars get stolen and the parts end up in a different region. I've seen a lot of civics stolen from around here over the years and I never see the parts surface locally.
Whoever is stealing these cars is not a total idiot. I think they maybe they have a connection in another region that they send the parts to.

Please everyone spare a few minutes for a good cause, we would do the same for anyone who had their car stolen

Since mine has been stolen, I have seen at least five more in the Ohio area stolen...

Just saw this http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/pts/889892005.html and immediately thought about the civics being stolen around here. I doubt a car thief is dumb enough to post in his home town though....
