D15 multi point idle surge

you start it up idles fine leave it to get warm and the idle surges up and down. I've unplugged the idle control valve then the car eraticle revs all over the place and isn't drivable at all and eml comes on you plug back in turn the car off and restart again and the light goes out but it goes back to idling badly again and starts surging. you can drive it fine then just when you come to stop its starts all over again its driving the misses mad I've promissed i will sort it this weekend to make her happy D15 with. D16z6 inlet po6 ecu on jumper harness
