#45196 I had both next to each other and they look pretty similar.
Here's the differences:

Notice the thicker runners on the z6 IM

Image
The D15b7 IM has P06 stamped on the back

Image
The D16z6 IM has P08 stamped on the back

Image
The Z6 IM ports are 42mm at the widest part.

Image
The D15b7 IM ports are 40mm at the widest part.

Image
Both manifolds have a 57mm throttle body opening

There are minor differences in the castings as well.

Now you know what to look for when buying a z6 IM to replace the more restrictive one on your dx/lx/vx/cx, so you won't get scammed

I put a y8 on my d16z6.

The main thing is the IAT sensor is on the intake tube on y8's instead of on the back of the IM like OBD1 IM's. So you will have to extend the wires for the IAT sensor OR drill a hole in your y8 IM.
There are also some extra vac lines that will need to be capped, and if your y8 IM is 99-00 you will have to plug the 4 tiny holes on the flange.

Details on all of the above can be found here:
