D15b7 pulley on d16z6 help
Posted: Mon Oct 12, 2015 6:53 pmHey guys i have a d15b7 pulley i took of that engine since i swapped in a Z6 i wanted to kno if i can use that one or if the timing marks are the same ? Pls help

Posted: Tue Oct 13, 2015 3:33 amI know for sure they have different OEM Part #'s. I believe both motors are 16 degrees btdc, so I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Posted: Wed Oct 14, 2015 4:53 amThe marks will be off. The Z6 is the oddball head. If you swap the cam sprocket, you'll have to compensate for the timing mark difference. Not worth the trouble.

i just bought a z6 pulley and it was the same marks as my d15 also the TDC mark was aligned with the top cam gear. so is this right ?
