Converting D15B2 to D15B VTEC - help on dash loom ?

Bascially i've got a 94 EG LSI D15B2 (single point injection)

I've put a JDM import d15b engine into my car , but realised its not plug in and play.

I've taken the dash out as i've been told i need to replace the '' VTEC INTERIOR LOOM ''

some people are saying its seperate to the dash loom, some arn't?

All i can see is one great big loom that runs behind the heater matrixs and goes to the doors, and through the bulkhead etc.

Does the whole thing need to be changed?

Any help would be great, thanks guys

i am pretty sure what they mean by "vtec interior loom" is the harness that included the VTEC wires that run to the ECU.

now did you get a VTEC engine harness with the engine?

if you did not but have already converted the car to MPFI then all you need to do is run the VTEC wires from the solenoid to the ECU at the correct places.

if you have not converted the car to MPFI and do not have a MPFI harness(vtec or not) then you will need to do that before this motor will even run

anybody feel free to correct me on this

Vtec is only 2 additional wires to the ECU. If you don't want to replace the entire MPFI non-vtec harness, you could easily just run the 2 additional wires to the ECU.
