#351248 You want to put Z6 parts into a Z1 head and put it on a Z6 block?

The Z1 ports are smaller and the squish area is different. You'd be better off with a B7 head but if you're going through the trouble, get a Z6 head. Sell the Z1 head on a fuel economy forum.

#351271 I can't tell you it would or wouldn't work but putting D16Z6 internals into a D15Z1 head would be pointless no matter what you did to it the Z6 head would out perform it. The D15Z1 head is designed 100% around fuel economy. I would honestly recommend staying with a full Z6 engine.

#351652 What is your base?
Do you run a D15z1 or a d16z6 in your civic?

I would say do it.
How are your skills?

I'd say if you have a z1 in your car, open up the intake ports and match it to a D15b7 intake manifold + D16z6 camshaft, rockers, LMAs + P28 ecu

If you have a D16z6 in your ride .....
Do the same :D z1 head with z6 internals and b7 intakemanifold

Compression will be at 11,3:1

i used a z6 intake mani and it was to big and the intake pipe was to big to. It would be better to use a 2,5'' intake pipe to keep the velocity higher in combination with a z6 throttel.
