Just to be clear, your engine is dying, not the auto tranny right?

Sounds like your head gasket might have went, allowing oil & water to mix.

It's a direct swap. Just unbolt your flex plate (what the autos have instead of a flywheel) from your d15b7 and put it on your jdm d15b. Use the auto's bolts too.

If your jdm d15b doesn't come with a distributor, you'll need one from a D16z6 or D15z1 - D15b7 will not bolt up.

You will need a vtec ecu and run 2 wires for vtec to work on your jdm D15B.
(basicially the same wiring as a mini-me swap: http://www.civic-eg.com/viewtopic.php?t=10)

The P08 is for the JDM D15B, be sure it is for an automatic tranny if you buy one.
Or Get a p28 from an AUTOMATIC 92-95 civic EX & Ignore the knock sensor on the jdm d15b. Ideally, you'll want to get a p28 chipped to run the proper P08 basemap, but it will run ok on a stock P28. Run the wires:

The ONLY thing I'm not 100% sure on is if you will need to re-use your d15b7 throttle body. I think the auto TB's have an extra cable that goes to the auto tranny. So I would hang on to the auto d15b7 TB, because you will probably need it.
