- Mon Jun 02, 2014 3:57 am #346078 I was wondering what would be good for a D16Z6. I'm chipped with Crome. Right now I have an AEM Short Ram intake dc sport 4-2-1 headers and a 1.75" custom cat back exhaust. I'm about to throw in an OBD1 ls ported Y8 manifold and I wanna know what I should change.

4000 rpm 2 step redline 7800 disabled knock and O2 sensor. Is what I have right now.

- Mon Jun 02, 2014 1:29 pm #346088 I think you're going about this the wrong way. A basemap is meant to be a starting point, followed by Dyno tuning to get your ecu exactly where it needs to be for your mods.
A basemap is ok for a gentle drive to the tuner but is not meant to be a permanent tune.

I say finish installing your mods and get the car properly tuned by someone who knows how. You might be surprised how much additional power they will be able to extract from your setup vs running untuned on a basemap.
