I noticed the d16w3 has a plastic IM and looks very similar to the USDM Y8 IM. Does anyone know anything about these or has used one. To me being plastic the manifold temp would be lower. which would make intake air temps lower as well, and this manifold should be lighter also depending on construction.
I know the benefits of this manifold may be very minor, but still something to think about.
Any thoughts?
