VX Valve timing oil pressure unit

Been awhile since I am on here.. but it feels good to be back on here.

Long story short, dad got my uncle's 92 VX and I am in the mist of tuning her up before smog check.

So when the car turned over, I see oil bubbles around the Valve timing oil pressure unit. It should be the gasket needs replacement, but what information I need to worry about or just unbolt the (2) screw and replace it?

Any info helps and thank you.

looking at number #10, but the oil is bubbling out on #15. I think this is the vtec solenoid... Never had a vtec to work on, so this will be the first. :thumb:

Ok so basically there is two pieces to that. The solenoid on the top and the valve body on the bottom. Just get #13, and #15. It's super simple to re-seal that, and you might as well put a new screen in while you're in there.

Thank you!!!! :thumb: Will do, ordering up all the parts for the major tune up.

New screen? Is there a screen around that area or part? :?
