- Tue Dec 04, 2012 8:20 pm #321552 I'd at least try and find a complete short block, so that you can disasseble it and understand how things go together before you try and build something. Also, if that is a true bare block with no main caps, that block is basically scrap iron because you would have to find caps and line hone that block
