#318204 ok so i had a blown head gasket i replaced it put everything back started car drove it and noticed the timing belt was to loose so i tried to tightin it up a little more and now my timing is so messed up..can anyone tell me how to reset the timing car wont start..94/dx/d15b7...Do I set cam to (up)tdc then put crank to red mark then remove distributor cap and point the rotary button to the #1wire???

#318214 the red mark is 16 degress btdc. you want to set it to the single white mark. there should be a single white mark, then three marks after with a red mark in the center of the three.

#318231 Make sure you jump the CEL plug so that the ecu doesn't mess with the timing while adjusting it

He's dealing with cam timing not ignition.
