I picked up a 95 Civic CX the other day, and the engine sounded fine to me (shows how little I know) when comparing to the D15b7 in my sedan, it is a little louder. My friend pointed the noise out to me and said the valves were chattering. Would a valve adjustment fix this issue?

The car runs and drives fine, the small amount that I've been able to drive it and the noise tends to disappear higher in the rev range.
I'm a little nervous as I just got the car and would hate to have an issue with it already. Not sure if I'm paranoid or not.
Thanks, in advance.
