Can any one tell me what this green jack is for. The harness is for the p2j-j62 ek vtec manual transmission

I was going to guess the heater/blower motor but that looks like a lot of wires in the harness to operate something so simple.

After doing some research in an ek3 repair/service manual (1996-2000) it is stated that this connector goes to the main harness. Is any one familiar with the under dash electrical of an eg8. If so does the eg8 have any connector similar to this one that connects to the main harness as explained.

Are you attempting to run the OBD2 3-stage vtec motor in an OBD1 car? CVT or manual transmission?

I'm wondering if you will have to switch the entire under dash/cabin harness now?

Its manual transmission. I am using back my s20 gear box. I might have to wire it into the obd1 under dash harness. Still doing research on the wiring color codes. I'll have to post some pics.

Presently I am labeling up my obd2 harness making sure I have no missing sensors etc. Its a little hard cause its my first time but in the end it will pay off I believe.

This is the obd2 3 stage vtec. I did manage to wire it in the under dash with out removing the harness.

Wild guess: on my EG, the green connector goes to my climate control module.
