where is the right place to hook up the hoist on a d15b

im pulling my motor and im not sure of a really stable spot to pull it from.does anyone know a good place?its for a d15b

i found a hook on once side of the motor and the other side i threaded a bolt though the chain into a hold on the block

i use the thing on top of the transmission and where the altanator sits there is a slot there i use.. but i seen many different ways too

i just got a giant chain and rapped it around, it had hooks on the chains so thats a plus :thumb:

if you post up pics of the motor in the bay ill show you where to hook it

x2 but it should be on the mount on the block and i did it on the distributor...

well what i did, was take the one of front tranny bolt loosened it, put the chain loop on it, took the alternator out and rapped it around that bracket also
