If I'm not mistaken, the FITV were removed in 96 with the EK chassis'. anything prior still require it. essentially, the FITV is used while the engine is being heated to normal operating temp. once that is achieved it is bypassed and the IACV comes into play. So if you are running a 95 or older car with a TB from a 96+ engine you will have an issue.

What do you mean by High idle. where about on the rpm? 2000? 2500, 3000 rpms?
Im asking this because my 93 d16z6 bring the fast idle valve attached to the throttle body i recently replaced it with a new one because i was getting a very high 2500+. change that and problem solved. Now i got a new omni power TB that looks just like the one you showed above. except mines does not have the idle adjusting screw. does anyone know how i would adjust ,y idle now that i dont have that screw. Any builder on here know?
TEAL, SuspendedHatch? Greased monkey? anyone?
