PMS 050 oversized pistons as promised. They just came in today. They were 4 of the last 5 in the US! Lucky lucky me.

Original Post wrote:The D15b is essentially a VX block with a EX/Si Head. Majority of the internal parts are unique and cannot be found in the US, but your common maintenance parts are. Parts for the head are for a D16z6 (EX/Si) and the parts for the block are for a D15z1 (VX).

Therefore you will need a Headgasket for a D15z1 or one from a 1992-1995 Honda Civic VX with VTEC-E. The -E is the important part. These are regurarlly stocked at most auto part stores in the US around me.

Curious if I can use a y8 intake manifold and ecu on a d15b vtec

You can use the y8 intake manifold, however if you are installing this into a 92-95 civic you can not use the y8 ecu. You will want a p28 out of a 92-95 civic ex/si, it powers the single can d16z6. You can also use a chipped ecu with a p28 map on it.

If your installing this in a 96-00 civic than you can use the ecu from a d16y8
