Acura has been taunting us with the next NSX for what seems like a decade now and out of nowhere... BAM comes this! I appreciate the innovative rear 3/4 styling. While so many cars are looking similar anymore, finally something that hasn't been done before. On the other hand, How about those Ferrari tail lights ;)

It has a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 (yes, seriously) with more than 600 horsepower and is going into production in late 2016.

The body features liberal amounts of carbon fiber and more advanced lightweight composites, so Ford promises it will "exhibit one of the best power-to-weight ratios of any production car."

They also say it has an F1-style steering wheel and a paddle-shift gearbox, plus upward swinging doors. Here's more:

The state-of-the-art chassis is suspended by an active racing-style torsion bar and pushrod suspension, with adjustable ride height. The 20-inch wheels are shod with Michelin Pilot Super Sport Cup 2 tires featuring a unique compound and structure designed specifically for the Ford GT. Multi-spoke wheels encircle carbon-ceramic brake discs at all four corners

#350977 i'm just glad they went big power ecoboost v6. the mullets are super pissed about this and the raptor having v6 powerplants. just because they aren't v8's, they think they're junk. even though the 3.5 ecoboost has a more solid torque curve than even the 6.2 that ford finally stopped producing

#351020 it had to be TT V6 to meet the new LeMans regulations. this build first and foremost is to meet race car minimum requirements. build total should be below 2000 units after they're all said and done. probably looking at close to 300 to 400 a year with a price tag of north of $300,000
