#283016 i have this automatic honda accord that i dont know what is wrong with it. i took it to diagnose and they said the tranny need to be replace so i replace it with another tranny to save money w/o paying for someone to replace it. accord dont work yet after it. the shift lock solenoid still lock up. when i check for codes, the ecu light stays on. i heard that if the ecu light stay on it might mean that the ecu might not be working. so im thinking of gettign another ecu just to see if thats it. if not i want to sell it or trade for a civic 4 door or ef sedan.

#283018 its hard to decipher what your asking for.

what i would do since most auto accords have this problem is check the trans solenoids which usually goes out first.

i believe if its bad ecu it is code 0 or 11?

is it throwing anyother codes?

make sure everything is plugged in correctly

make sure your fluid is up to par.

before, accord has been shifting at high rpm after replacing another tranny still same thing.

i cant tell if its throwing any code when i check for codes, the cel just stay on, not sure if thats 0 or 11. all sensor i made sure none was loose.

im going to drain the tranny fluid and put in honda fluid.

i replace other parts that i think it was not worth replacing but i did it just to make sure. my last guess is it might be the ecu or something electrical.
