#278865 so i was watching the news this morning and a guy from maine has a 99 honda accord with original motor and tranny. the guy just recently hit the 1 milion mile mark and its still being driven to this day! when honda heard about this they offered him a brand new honda! just goes to show u how well built these cars are! i will try to find the video and post it on here.

#278882 its a 1990 accord and Million Mile Joe, yeah a few years back when he hit the 500,000 mark they wanted to take the car and he wouldn't let them. And he also works for honda, in some sort of way.

#278946 That shows testament to OLD honda motor build quality. I can't see this happening on any 2001+ motors. That's just my belief on the build quality of the engines of the mid 80's-2000 era.

#278963 Oh have faith with the new cars the motors are much more simple now from then. Less vacuum lines and sensors to fail. I believe with the right care and maintenance any Honda could and should last for ever.
