i just bought a slk and that is where it gets tricky. see the r170 slk is the sister car to the crossfire. if you take any plastic garnish off of the crossfire it will be stamped mercedes. and the v6 that is in the mercedes is the same thats in the crossfire exactly the same only difference is the valve cover. with that said the crossfire is a mercedes just american built.
all that just to say they are the same damn car fellas.
