my work has a remote office out there.
i had to go out there one Sunday morning, and saw about 100 ferraris/lambos gassing up at the last gas station before Malibu.
Dealerships for Ferrari, Jag, Lambo, Mercedes, BMW, etc.
none of them have closed during the recession.

Any business where you are selling shit for 100k or more just isn't affected.

Hell we've had twice as much work building tracks this year compared to last... and we've got some more potential projects waiting to go.
