I picked up my 94 Del Sol VTEC in Feb. 08. Since then I've done pretty much all the necessary maintenance to keep it running. It's got 170k on the Stock B16A3 right now, bought it with 165k.

Maintenance and Upgrades:
Spark Plugs & Wires
Cap & Rotor
New Engine Seals (all of them)
Cooling System Flush
Changed all my fluids
2 New Axels (i broke one...oops)
New Windshield
OEM tailights (old ones were gross) found on ebay for $5
2 Front fenders
Front Bumper
2 Seats (better condition then the ones i had)
New Exedy Clutch
Skunk2 Megapower Exhaust (cat back)
Skunk2 Sport Shocks
Skunk2 Lowering Springs
Skunk2 Front & Rear Camber Kit
Skunk2 Lower Control Arms (rear)
Energy Suspension Bushing Kit
AEM CAI (waiting on install)

I have my electronics final this Friday. Monday I start my brakes course. woohoo no more electronics lol. So for the next 3 weeks
I'll be doing some brake work on the del sol and perhaps the rx-8 too.

I got my brakes done today!

a little recap!

Brembo drilled front and rear rotors
hawk hp+ front and rear pads
russell steel braided lines
super blue racing brake fluid

I think I gotta bleed my brakes again but they're starting to brake in nice and the del sol
stops way better now! i just need to get some wheels to show them off

Here's my trans from the RX-8 in pieces at the Dealer. Mazda and their killer
warranty is picking up the tab for a complete rebuild because 3rd and 4th gear
synco's went out.

While the tranny is out I'm having them throw in a Mazdaspeed flywheel and
a Stage 2 exedy clutch installed smile.gif they're only charging me 1 hour labor.

I'm pretty stoked about it! almost turbo time for that whip!


And this kid at school practically begged me to trade him hoods. So I gave im
my crappy beat up faded CF hood and he gave me his freshly painted OEM hood
with windshield squirters! That made my day. we swapped them in the parking
lot at school lol


I move into my new 5 car garage Nov. 1st. Part of the garage is being built into
a paint room. I'm hoping to have the sol painted by my birthday! 12/15

Love the brakes!!! they work great and i don't hear them so that's nice!
I also made a temporary fix and got all the primer off my car so it's all black now.
I installed my front lower left control arm so my caster is back to spec and my
wheel sits center of the wheel well again.

I took the Si wheels off the hatch and swapped them onto the sol. They look
pretty good on the del sol.

December 5th is my last day of class then i get a month off. So from Dec 6th to Jan 5th. My goal with the del sol
is to do a complete wire tuck and shave the engine bay. paint the engine bay and rebuild and install my B16A.

At this time i'll also be removing my P/S and A/C too
