- Mon Jul 05, 2010 10:00 pm #203290 So on July 3rd I picked up a slightly wrecked del sol for super cheap wanting to fix it up.
It came with a fresh paintjob, almost flawless body
But, it had core support damage.
So the morning of the 4th we started to figure out how to make it look better.

Needs:
-Front end fix radiator core support [done,got it, 137$]
-Driver's side sideskirt [got it, 35$]
-Driver's side interior door handle[got it, 20$]
-Rear speaker covers[got it, 30$]
-Stock 92-95 spoiler
-Slam the car. [is now dumped]
-Wheels[got it, GSR Blades, 280$]
-New fog lights
-Front Camber kit
-Alignment
-Fix Exhaust leak
-Fix holes in trunk lid.






Then we got a little messy, using man tools
A hatchet and hammers.





Now we are in the process of getting a new Radiator core support to make it like brand new
Noticed it had bad tires on the steelies


so we went ahead and bought some Gsr blades for cheap also


Also we put these on when we got it.


Lip is coming in the mail also.
Core support has been chopped off and I am picking it up at 8am wednesday morning.
So expect a clean ass captiva blue del sol soon

I'm pretty stoked to see how it turns out, we're waiting on the core support to be cut off today, hope to put some pics up tonight of the progress

yeah I painted the under part of the hood black so it looks a little better also.

Well we got it for 1000, after selling my old white s model for 3500.
I want to build the z6, and make it as clean as I can, working on getting all the missing parts also.
