took a whole day to do all that

then next day

so this is what i achieved on monday,

engine out


yuks :sick:

day third, woke up at 7.30 and straight jump to battlefield, stripped down donor car



managed to get the d16z6 under the main car


day fourth


Empty bay


Engine in


ohhh... manual is lot fun than auto

got other parts i.e ss manifold, obx racing ht leads, red hoses, dc2 midpipe n backbox. they just waiting to get fitted

gunna be doing this exact swap soon... just gotta find me an MOT failed or crash damaged ESi or VTi

i swapped the interior looms OBD0 to OBD1 and engine looms too, didnt want make any hassle with wiring,

i think you can get cheap esi nowadays mate, i bought the donor car for 225quid

Ahh no. Thats annoying. Hate it when things like that happen. I love the mid pipe on my Mongoose system cause its adjustable

DC2 BackBox n Midpipe



managed to fit those two and Rover 45 2.0 TD Front ARB, 1cm thicker than ESi one, today under of heavy but didnt stop me, dedication HAHAHAHAHA..... might need loads of warm tea later on

i will show you the problem i have


The DC2 backbox/tailpipe is 1-2cm shorter than stock EG saloon Backbox

then



you can see, the dc2 midpipe is 2.25" shorter than stock eg midpipe (saloon/coupe/hatchback)

Next



D15b2 CAT is 1.5" longer than d16z6 CAT, dunno if there any differences between saloon CAT with Hatchback CAT but i dont think there is.
