I took my sedan out for a blast through some twisties up and down a mountain and the mud flaps were scrubbing everywhere, tempted to take them off but i chopped up my rear lip to fit them on so i'd have to lose the lip as well then
I don't know how low I am. I can put 5 people in my car still no rubbing. A tip for your mud flaps is to take the front ones off so you can modify them. I will take a picture what mine look like that happened naturally when i kept them on but you can shave yours down to look like mine so they don't rub at all. I'll take a picture soon here.

I actually don't have clear coat on it yet. The paint on there is single stage paint that I'm going to add clear coat to so that i can have it look like its wet at all times.
