Hows the car going? Everything still Running Good?
This Summer Me and My Close Friends will be doing tons of Barbecues, Meets and Mountain Runs, Alot on Black Diamond Road. If thats to far off, we have Closer roads we Run on as well. If you want to come up a Weekend we can have a BBQ, then Head up and doing a loop or two of our Mountain Runs, When we get back you can crash at my place for the night then head back to Oregon in the morning.

ha, yeah, it's a good keyboard, bought it when i built my computer..i really have no complaints and the battery life is pretty good
thanks man, although it's a pretty shitty route job by the guy who ran the exhaust, he told me that it was going to be great and well..it's not but o well it works for now...
i was lucky in the fact that my dad has a shop where i can do all of my own work. i pulled the engine, re-built it and boosted it all in his shop so i only had to buy parts which were probably around $1000 cause i got some sick deals
so what's next is: fix the interior rattles (drive me nuts)
think about getting a 2.5" DP so i can run A/C >> BIG MAYBE
Paint and body work
New suspension/New wheels and tires (too big, too rough of ride)
what i really wanna do is sell it and get an EK Sedan (99-00) either LX or EX and put my boosted motor in there and keep or get a/c!
yeah man, seems that way... i'm just going to drive it for a while and see how she does. i have put about 9000 miles on the engine in about 9 months or so (i don't really drive much at school) and the engine is strong. I mean i rip on it a lot...i'm not easy on the girl
thanks man...and yeah! post up your build thread
what's up man.. yeah the car is running good. i'm just logging the miles although i don't drive much here down at school. i checked out that route you had setup, looks pretty sweet man, is it pretty windy and nice curves? i would love to come up there and run it with you guys and kick it one of these weekends, i'm assuming you work during the week? this is week 9 at school and i graduate on June 12th and moving back to Portland i'm assuming until i find a job. lets plan on a weekend in June when the weather should be decent?
and i'm pretty much for sure going to the D-Series meet on the 5th of June, i'm gonna try and get a few of the Portland-ers from d-series to meet up at jantzen beach and drive up with me, maybe we could stop at a gas station and meet you too? let me know about that...

haven't visited this build in months.
amazing progress, all in all how much did it cost to boost it?
but the real question...whats next?

so it's been a while:
***i blew the lower radiator hose about 3 weeks ago sitting in the heat and traffic which was fun by the way...
so i have the aluminum radiator and the hose is a very tight fit, can i get a b series one or one that is larger in diameter?
so another update...
i replaced my starter cause about every 5-25 times i turned the key it would start (bad solenoid on the starter) plus it was getting pretty weak so i replaced it but now it grinds at the end of the cranking process with the NEW starter, is that normal for a while??

so i got friskey and decided to pull out most of my dash cause it was rattling and i wanted to replace the cup holder, i replaced my burnt climate bulbs with white LEDs and glued/screwed the bezel back into place cause all the mounts were broken.
new cups (local junkyard) one out of a sable and one a taurus.
on a side note: been playing with these lately (mine is left and buddys is right, but broken right here, fixed her all up real fast)

Hey buddy, first of all - great purple coupe its very similar to where I want to take mine. I wanted to ask, your recent issue with starting, on the occasions that it wouldnt start did the engine turn over properly, or spark?? My coupe has been undrivable for weeks as Im tryin to get a new dizzy, but if it could also be the starter I might be barking up the wrong tree?? Mine turns over fully and fast just doesent spark to life??
just wandered...

hello andy, my car in this particular case when it wasent starting, it was the ignition "pos 3" start was not engaging because of the extensive heat and cause everything to happen except for telling the starter to turn over.
in your case where it cranks and doesnt fire, does it happen when it's hot and does it do it all the time or some of the time? I almost bet it's your main relay, because it doesnt send power to the fuel pump sometimes which makes it crank and not fire....hope it helps man!

thanks man! yeah i boost quite often, like everyday/everytime i drive it it's good having a job, minus the student loans!! how's the house?
It's doing pretty good man, i have been driving the SHIT out of it! like 50-70 miles a day how's your sedan?
thanks man, i got them free at the local Boring junkyard one out of a 92-95 sable and the other a Taurus. had plently on the lot.
UPDATE!
so this is how my car was sitting last wednesday/thursday night:
i replaced BOTH rear brake calipers because the one i got about a year back was defective and the other one was OLLLD. however, i got one for free from autozone through some warranty loophole and the guys totally helped me out!
Left:
Right:
damn, they feel so good now, plus my ebrake works great which is why i did this to begin with....to go to the track on friday night.
so on my way home i notice this after i shut it off and about 10 min went by:
on my fucking way to the track!! I park for about 2 minutes and this much oil leaks out...and i just changed my oil...FML
so needless to say i didn't go to the track because saturday night i boozed
Familiar Sight:
after doing some looking around, even buying a rear main seal cause i thought it was that but ended up being the oil pan gasket
as you can tell, it's cracked right down the middle...anybody else have this happen?
so i got it fixed and it don't leak at all, put some loctite on the bolts/studs as well.. got a few other leaks that i hopefully sealed up the other night.
one other thing, my tranny side motor mount bolts decided to leave the building so i got some NAPA specials lol: (the bright red ones)
.
.
.
I'm working on getting some different lowering springs right now, i got 2 front H&R sports, i need some rears. suspension, resonator then a wastegate (maybe) are in the future...
