- Sat Oct 02, 2010 7:31 am #216404 My name is Fer and I come from the Netherlands. I am on a few Honda forums and I came across this one. So let me give a brief introduction of my Civic.
I drive a 1996 Honda Civic Coupe DXI (same as DX in usa I believe).
I bought it a little more than a year ago. When I bought it it was bone stock.

When I bought it:
Year: 1996
Make: Honda
Model: Civic
Trim: DXI
Colour: Milano Red Tri-Coat (R81-3)
Engine: D15B7 SOHC
OEM options: ESI rear wing, Metal doorsteps with Civic engraved.

This was how it looked when I bought it (23-7-2009)



After a little more than a year a few things have been done to it:

-Weitec Hicon TX+ Coil over kit (same as KW var.2)

-OEM VTI strutbar front

Wheels and Tires:
-Summer: 17" Alessio Monza's / 205/40/17
-Winter: OEM EP2 Steelies 15" / Yokohama Ice-Guard 195/55/15

Brakes:
-OEM Front and Rear
-AP Racing Dot5.1 Fluid

Engine:
-Stock Exhaust with ITR-style Tip

I still have some plans for the future:
-16" rims instead of the 17". Just bought these to see how it looks (and it doesn't look that bad). But 16" drive's better and i can go lower with them. Not sure what rims but something like Regamasters/slipstreams will be nice I think.
-Catback exhaust and 421 header + de-cat pipe
-Recaro's or bucket seats
-Upgraded brakes
-Some strutbars
-etc.

Thnx man! I am already searching for some nice 16" rims. Not only because it looks better but also because i can go about an inch lower with the ride height and because it simply drives better. Haven't made up my mind yet what it will be. Probably something like regamasters/slipstreams or te37's. Whatever it may bve they will be white.

It had its annual service done (oil, oilfilter, belts, sparkplugs etc.), installed a painted valve cover (flat red w. black markings), some red reservoir socks and installed a pair of HID Xenon lights. The Xenon is a 8000K set. I never was really keen on the looks of Xenon headlights in a car that didn´t have them from the factory, but the additional visibility makes up a lot and it doen´t even look that bad.
Took some pictures of it in a garage at night. Pretty much like the outcome of the pictures.
