I have a synapse bov that i decided to try to replace my RFL BOV.
I love it but the only thing is that the little screws that hold it on to the flange keep coming loose and it keeps breaking/crushing the oring seal.
i want to keep it cuz its awesome but i wanted to know if i could just weld it on the flange so it wont have problems. i mean in theory i know it could work but ive never seen this on a car.

what about lock washers? welding would be overkill, there's all kinds of hardware out there, even some locking bolts similar to the stage 8 style maybe?

idont think you can put a washer on those little itty biity screws
theyre the little black allenkey ones, barely 1/4" in length

I've seen some lock washers that size before. probably have to special order them from somewhere, might not have any luck finding them at home depot...
You could always buy longer screws too and put a lock washer + nut on the other end. that should stop it.
Definitely don't weld it though, what if you need to take it off? And are the materials the same?

yes both aluminum
and i know its overkill but i know for a fact it wont leak (the bov wont, i mean the fitting) and ive went through 4 torbo cars and like 7 or 8 bovs and have never had this problem. its not like it cost amillion anyways.
