mounting BOV on intercooler?

I'm wondering if there is any advantage to mounting it here...

Yeah it is closer to the turbo, but I always thought it should be close to the throttle body as possible so that when the throttle plate closes, the air will not have to flow as far backwards through the intake tube to exit through the BOV.

It is better there for the simple fact that your trying to eliminate compressor surge. With the BOV closer to the TB there is more a chance for compressor surge. :D
