msd help

Im to the point were im ready t throw my msd off a bank. i have a b20 with a chipped p28 tuned running between 12 and 15 psi. the car has ran fine with the stock ignition making killer passes. I had the msd 6al-2 with built in two step and a external coil with msd cap installed professionally. take the car to the track and it missed all the way down does anyone have any experience with msd and these cars?

I know this isn't a solution to your issue but I'd junk all that stuff. Seems like they do more harm than help. I'm at 600whp and run factory wires/cap/rotor

The MSD stuff will give you nothing but headaches junk it all and go back to OEM. If you feel the need for an upgraded ignition switch to Hondata s300 and use their coil pack kit its been great on everything I've used it on.

ditched my external coil as well. The oem one has not given me any problems.

ya guys i wish id of found this out before purchasing all this but it is junk. but i know alot of cars at the strip arent running stock ignition is it just stand alone coils ?
