Did a little bit of researching and some says it's possible and reliable on stock internals WITH 93 octane gas, I was just wondering if this was true because it might be a better bang for the buck to boost a gsr motor over a z6.

Yup. All the b series motors are good to 300whp on 93 with a good tune. The pistons like to start melting when you get above that on pump. My tuner says e85 will let you take it closer to 400whp.

My current LS has been at 286whp for a year now with almost 100 passes at the drag strip without missing a beat.

My stock b18b1 has been boosted for approx 14,000 miles. Made 348whp, ARP head studs are the only thing changed.
Doing a ported head and cams, gonna try for 400whp on pump.

Did you guys at least any mods supporting the turbo if it was on stock internals? And are you still running boost on your engine HatchSI?

That's great I think might try b series then, if not gsr then ls with a b16. But I've always been wondering, are there any problems mating an obd1 block with obd2 tranny and vice versa? I have strict smog laws here so I was just wondering if mating 2 differnt obds will cause problems. Anyone?

There's people making 600+ on stock engines. 300 is a cake walk

Stock block, not sure about head since most don't list it.
