Yup, because of the increase in the amount of air in the combustion chamber, you have to have more fuel in the mixture or else you're car will run lean, or on more air. Upgrading the fuel rail and and injectors will help a lot, allowing for an increased flow of fuel, and then of course getting a good tune so it runs at a good stable rate.

to get the most power out of any upgrade you need to get a good tune

bigger injectors, tuning, and tires lol. always run the highest octane you can to so no detonation occurs

I've heard shit things about the JRSC. Sposly you have to keep tighting the belt like 3 times within 10K and after about 10K miles the belt looks shredded and you need to replace it.

These reason's putted me off getting one. Turbo FTW :thumb:

That's my supercharged del sol, with gsr swap. keep in mind those numbers are on the dyno dynamics (heart break) dyno, on a mustang dyno it would be around 270hp 230 tq.

Stock block.
440cc RC injectors
Walboro 255 fuel pump
Hondata s300
Its running just under 10lbs of boost.

I hope you have a 2nd car to drive cause this is pretty hard install to do in a weekend. Oh and don't use the FMU that comes with the kit. You will blow your motor.

Even hondata's JRSC tune was screwed up. I was running 21:1 AFR at idle with the JRSC default tune. I had to tow it to the shop for tuning. I recommend you do the same if you go this route.

I love my SC and wouldn't have it any other way. Yes, you don't see the high numbers like the turbo guys but I get max torque at the press of the peddle. I will be taking the car to the track as soon as I get my brakes installed.

If you have any questions about the install just pm me and i'll gladly help you out.

I have had not one problem with my SC it's very reliable. Which is one reason why I chose it.

Oh yeah a hondata intake manifold gasket is a must. The one thing that will kill the SC and your motor is intake temps. It will cause you to knock if it gets really hot. And you will keep melting IAT sensors. So it's well worth the $50

Why upgrade the fuel rail?
It's able to flow enough fuel to feed up to 450hp...
And the only reason you should get another fuel pump is because you need the reliability of a fresh one, go with in tank or external, what you want (link to a nice article/how-to by Endyn)
The stock one you have now has enough capacity for at least 325hp and more, but is not as reliable as a new one anymore.
So get a new one, unless the thing was replaced in the last 4 or 5 years.

Just add a decent fuel pressure regulator, get 440cc tot 550cc injectors, and have the car tuned by a guy who really knows what he's doing.

And get a 70mm throttle body, a header specifically designed to work with a supercharger, a large diameter decat and catback... that'll give you the power you want (probably more haha).
The heatshield gasket (Hondata or Password:JDM, doesn't matter) is a nice thing to add as well, it's cheap, so do it :)

Good luck, I'd like to see those numbers you're going to run :)

So what kind of numbers you getting on a stock motor?

232hp?
