I want to boost my z6 and make decent power my budget is about 1200 anyone give me some ideas

Unless you find super amazing deals 1200 really isn't enough to do a turbo build. but is is a good start, atleast were I live taking it to a place to have it tuned is not cheap. I'm not saying it can't be done, I'm just saying me personaly I would save more to get some quality parts and make sure that everything tuned really good. Cuz I've herd time and time again about people throwing a cheap turbo setup together and it last 6 months and blows.....but obviously its personal prefrance :thumb:

If thats for the engine alone and your doing the work yourself you prolly will barely make it. Pistons, rods, block guard. And if you have a cylinder hone bit for a drill you can do most of it yourself.

there are sites out there that sell vitara pistons with i think shot-peened LS rods for D's pretty cheap. do those with some head studs and you'll be good

if you use vitaras in a d16, you will probably want custom length rods.
